Obituary of Theresa Gero

Theresa Gero passed away on August 19, 2015 at the age of 106 years old at the Chatham Hills Care Center in Chatham, NJ. She was a lifelong resident of Madison, NJ. Theresa was a homemaker who lovingly took care of her family. She was a member of St. Vincent Martyr Church, Madison, NJ. She is survived by her daughters, Christine Rocco and her husband, Robert, Marie Lynes, Deanna Barry and Elizabeth Cieri, 17 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren as well as 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael, in 1982 and by her brother-in-law, Denis Lynes. A Memorial Mass is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2015, at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison, NJ. The family will receive guests before Mass starting at 9:15 AM in the Church at Our Lady’s Shrine. Interment will be at St. Vincent Cemetery, Noe Ave., Madison, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent Martyr School Building Fund, 26 Green Village Road, Madison, NJ 07940.
