Obituary of Michael Patrick Esposito, Sr.

Michael Patrick Esposito, Sr., 82, formerly of Whippany, NJ, more recently of Roseland, NJ, passed away on August 3, 2015. Born and raised in Madison, NJ, Mr. Esposito resided in Whippany for 20 years before moving to Roseland. Mr. Esposito was a butcher and the owner of Esposito Bros. in Madison, NJ for 47 years. In his spare time, he also enjoyed farming, gardening, horticulture, and ranching. Mr. Esposito is survived by his life companion, Ellen; and his children, Michael, Steven, David, Laura, and Lisa. He is also survived by his siblings, Patrick, Josephine, and James; as well as his 11 grandchildren, and his 2 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his siblings, Joseph, Anthony, Carmen, and Genieve. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 4-8pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison, NJ. A Funeral Service for Mr. Esposito will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. Vincent's Cemetery, Madison, NJ. Mr. Esposito was very proud of his work, and didn't view his job as "work." He was creative in marketing his ideas, and love to see things grow, whether it be his business or his friendships with others. Mr. Esposito encouraged everyone he knew to be their best ¬- look their best and even act their best. He saw the best in others, and encouraged them to be their best. Mr. Esposito held high expectations for himself, and in turn, held high expectations for those who were important to him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in memory of Mr. Esposito can be made to the local ambulance squad of your choice.
