Obituary of Helen A Fair

Helen Ancona Fair, 90, of Morris Plains, NJ, passed away on July 25, 2015 at Morris View Healthcare Center. Born in Reading, PA, Helen resided in Mountain Lakes, NJ, Ann Arbor, MI, and West Hartford, CT, before moving to Morris Plains 52 years ago. Helen earned her B.S. degree from Albright College in 1945 and her M.S. degree from Kean College in 1972. She worked as a Research Bio Chemist for White's Labs in Newark, NJ. More recently, she worked as a Children's Librarian for the Morris Plains Library for many years. Helen was a member of the Woman's Club of Morristown, and the Morris Plains Garden Club. Helen is survived by her devoted son, Peter Fair and his wife, Carol, of Morris Township, NJ; her cherished grandchildren, Jocelyn Fair, Steve and Kristina Fair; her beloved brother, Peter Ancona and his wife, Mary Ann, of Randolph, NJ; her adored niece and nephews, Jim Ancona, Katie Ancona, and Peter Ancona; as well as many cousins. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Thomas, in 1982.Visiting will be on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 4-8pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ. A Graveside Service for Helen will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11:00am at Evergreen Cemetery, 65 Martin Luther King Avenue, Morristown, NJ. Interment will follow.
