Obituary of Basilia Ordaya

Basilia Ordaya, of Morristown, NJ, passed away on June 30, 2015 at Morristown Medical Center. She was 93 years old. Born in Chupaca, Peru, Basilia resided in Lima, Peru before moving to Morristown 60 years ago. Basilia worked in Food Service for Morristown Medical Center for 20 years, before retiring in 1986. Basilia is survived by her loving and devoted sister, Yolanda, of Morristown, NJ. She is also survived by her beloved nieces, Ana Maria, Carmen, Tracy, Paulina, Juana, Maria, Iliana, Betty, Zoraida, Adelina; and many nephews. Basilia was predeceased by her siblings, Isabel, Abilio, and Primitiva, all of Peru. Basilia was a loving Aunt, who was always dedicated to her nieces and nephews. Her long-time companion was her sister, Yolanda, with whom she lived and could not live without. Visiting will be on Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 3-6pm, with a Funeral Service at 6pm, at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, NJ. Interment of her ashes will be private, and at a later date in Peru.
